Intracoastal Waterway Real Estate

The Bostwick family, owners of Cedar Cove (pictured above), knew that this 50-acre parcel of intracoastal waterway real estate, with its high ground and marsh, is something extra special.  As one of the largest private land owners in the area, with some 10,000 acres, they had the opportunity to pick and choose any site along the Atlantic Ocean. So when the Bostwicks sold more than 2,300 acres of their property on Dafuskie Island in 1979 to Charles Cauthen and his investors, they reserved for themselves Cedar Cove.  The Bostwicks understood that the true beauty of Cedar Cove could not be appreciated for a number of years.  That time is now.

Cedar Cove represents what living in the Lowcountry is all about.  Surrounded by magnificent live oaks and centuries-old cedar trees, with stunning views of the intracoastal waterway, only 18 fortunate property owners will call Cedar Cove home.  Each home site is sold with a designated space on either a community or private dock in Cedar Cove; all have deep water views.  The construction of one home commenced in 2008, and several more owners have filed architectural plans to build.  Landside access to Cedar Cove is through the , and Haig Point memberships are available to Cedar Cove owners.  For more information, please contact us.
